Wellbutrin information
Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, and Wellbutrin XL are all medications in the class called antidepressants. Wellbutrin is prescribed for the treatment of depression, and also to aid people trying to quit smoking. Zyban is the common brand name of wellbutrin prescribed to smokers trying to quit. Wellbutrin XL and SR are both extended release type formulations of the common ingredient bupropion HCl.
